Robert William Yelle, Photographer
My name is Robert William Yelle. I prefer to be known as Bob Yelle. I’ve been interested in photography since I was about 8 years old and received a Brownie Box Camera for Christmas. I retired from the work force when I reached my 62nd birthday. Prior to my retirement, photography remained relegated to hobby status for me due to time constraints. Upon retirement, I adopted photography as a second career. I am a member of the Merrimack Valley Camera Club (MVCC) in North Andover, MA. I am currently using a Nikon D200 digital camera. The MVCC has monthly club competitions in which I participate. I view the judging as a learning tool. I have noticed a steady improvement since joining MVCC.
I am also a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) for the same reasons I belong to MVCC, only on a larger scale.
I am sharing space in a large studio (Western Avenue Studios) in Lowell, MA, so that I can improve my skills using indoor and natural light. Some of my work can be seen in this site on the Photo Gallery page.
